The CHCSA has engaged Women’s Safety Services SA to conduct Professional Development titled “Recognising & Responding to Family & Domestic Violence”, Thursday 12th July 2018.

This workshop has been well-attended by CHCSA members in the past and is held in our meeting room, 285 Payneham Road, Royston Park.

This half day workshop will run from 9.15am – 12.30pm and includes the opportunity for members to network over lunch that will be provided at the end of the workshop.

The content includes:

  • What is domestic violence?
  • What are the indicators that someone might be living with domestic violence?
  • Safety planning with women who choose to stay
  • Safety planning with women who choose to leave
  • DV service system – how to refer and what services provide

The cost of this professional development will be $60 per person – Unfortunately as the CHCSA is not funded for training, costs must be passed onto members for training even in the event of non-attendance.

Once you have registered your place an invoice will be issued for payment. Places will be limited so please respond early by contacting Rebecca on 8362 1022 or info@chcsa.org.au by close of business 13th June.

Please also include a note regarding any dietary requirements you may have.
