Recognising & Responding to Domestic Violence – Professional Development

The CHCSA has engaged Women’s Safety Services SA to conduct Professional Development titled “Recognising & Responding to Family & Domestic Violence”, Thursday 12th July 2018.
This workshop has been well-attended by CHCSA members in the past and is held in our meeting room, 285 Payneham Road, Royston Park.
This half day workshop will run from 9.15am – 12.30pm and includes the opportunity for members to network over lunch that will be provided at the end of the workshop.
The content includes:
- What is domestic violence?
- What are the indicators that someone might be living with domestic violence?
- Safety planning with women who choose to stay
- Safety planning with women who choose to leave
- DV service system – how to refer and what services provide
The cost of this professional development will be $60 per person – Unfortunately as the CHCSA is not funded for training, costs must be passed onto members for training even in the event of non-attendance.
