1 x Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Fixed-term Parental Leave coverage until February 2023, location Marion Office

The Opportunity:

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled Housing Manager who wants to contribute to the delivery of high-quality services that have a real impact?

Several exciting opportunities exist for you to join our growing team, your new role will be responsible for providing a highly responsive and professional tenancy and housing management service across a portfolio of designated properties and tenants. Utilising excellent customer service is critical to your success in this role, ensuring a positive tenant experience, facilitating support as required to connect tenants with their communities and enabling them to sustain their tenancies.

Our ideal candidate will be flexible and collaborative in their approach to creating successful and sustainable tenancies that contribute to thriving communities. You are proactive in your communication with internal and external stakeholders to fulfil Junction’s purpose, mission, and values.

About You:

We are seeking a highly passionate person who:

  • Has experience in managing a residential tenancy portfolio, in the Community Housing sector or Property sector and knowledge of tenancy management principles
  • Possesses strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and negotiation skills which have been demonstrated at an operational level
  • Has an understanding of community engagement principles and demonstrated experience in trauma-informed practice
  • Can prioritise workload, work independently and as part of a team
  • Has experience in working in partnership with tenants to overcome barriers to sustain their tenancy obligations.
  • Holds a degree or tertiary qualifications in either Property, Social Work, Business Administration or relevant equivalent (or lesser qualification complemented by substantial relevant experience)

You Will Need To:

Maintenance Officer

Part-time (0.8 FTE), Permanent Position

Flexible working days and times available

4 days per week 8:30 am to 4:36 pm or 5 days per week with reduced hours

 

The Opportunity:

Are you a passionate person who is experienced in delivering administrative support and customer service, ideally in a housing maintenance support environment and would like to contribute to the delivery of high-quality services that have a real impact?

An opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Officer to join our team, your new role will assist with property maintenance administration including the coordination of maintenance works, collaboration with contractors and staff, maintaining compliance records, and asset reporting. You will liaise with tenants, Housing SA and Housing Managers to resolve maintenance issues and raise maintenance orders where applicable. This is an office-based role, at our Parkside Office, in a fast-moving environment where no day is the same. Your people skills will be an asset for managing phone calls with people from diverse backgrounds, combined with your problem-solving skills, you will provide outcomes that positively impact people in our community.
